About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst will be reporting to the Director of Applications Development. This will be a remote role, with expectations to commute into an office space in San Ramon 2-3 days a week. 

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop data models, reports and dashboards from requirements through production
  • Integrate and transform data for analysis using SQL, ETL tools and API integrations
  • Validate data to ensure accuracy
  • Provide recommendations & best practices on optimizing the data 
  • Work with product managers, marketers, engineering team to gather requirements, establish priorities, offer solutions and execute development
  • Perform technical and business user training
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets and big query expertise.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.

While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

  • Bachelors in computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant experience 
  • 8+ years of SQL experience
  • At Least 8+ years of experience with Tableau / Looker / PowerBI
  • Build a data catalog, and data dictionary and make data searchable for our stakeholders and users
  • Build and manage our ETL pipelines using Fivetran and other tools to ensure a streamlined and accurate flow of information into our data warehouse (BigQuery)
  • 4+ years of Experience building and optimizing Google BigQuery data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
