About the Role
Anza is looking for a Sr QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in software testing, who is passionate about ensuring the quality of our applications through automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright. You will also collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure our products are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards.
As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in driving testing strategies, quality initiatives, as well as tracking defects and mitigations. This role requires a deep understanding of automation best practices and hands-on experience writing efficient, scalable test scripts for modern web applications.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for web applications to ensure full coverage of functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management, and other QA engineers) to define testing requirements and ensure that testing strategies are aligned with product goals.
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve test automation processes to ensure fast feedback and efficient execution times.
- Identify areas for improvement in test coverage, test reliability, and test performance; implement strategies to address any gaps.
- Maintain detailed test reports and metrics to track progress, highlight defects, and provide visibility to stakeholders.
While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:
- 7+ years of Software Quality Engineering testing web and mobile.
- Strong ability to write quality automation test code with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in writing code outside of automation testing
- Proficient in Github and Playwright.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and the Scrum software development life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
